Today April 22nd, 2021 – The Erdman family and Erdman Automotive team members volunteered to clean up highway state-520 and its surrounding waterways in Brevard County on Earth Day this year. We believe it’s our duty to do our part to clean not only our Earth but the roadways we use to commute daily providing accessibility to work, school, friends and family. Although our personal actions may have not directly participated in the trash found in our community, we can still take the initiative to give back to what helps us thrive! Picking up trash in your local community isn’t the only way to help our environment. Here are a few ways you can make a difference and make Earth Day every day!

 

Bring a bag! Use reusable bags for grocery shopping and similar activities to reduce the consumption of disposable bags.

Have a reusable cup/water bottle

Use reusable grocery bags

Buy secondhand items and donate used goods

Avoid single-use food and drink containers and utensils like straws!

You can skip the plastic straw altogether or buy reusable metal ones instead.

Or switch to a more eco-friendly vehicle like the Toyota Prius or Nissan Leaf.

Fully electric and Hybrid vehicles help reduce carbon emissions greatly and can save you money!
